Would something as violent as MMA be possible (to pick up on Voice’s mention)? How about gladiatorial games, so long as one doesn’t cross the R rating line?
Unless the gore is described in every possible detail, I doubt it would break the “R” category. These both would be fine.

Just under two months left to write for Sports! This post is being used to put Voice in “freak out mode”.

Really sweating it out now >.< If we can get enough done for the RF antho, going to just focus on polo since it’s a nice unique sport and I have some fun ideas for it.
Less than a month to submit, alongside other things? I’ll give it a go! I’ll pick something I’m familiar with too - climbing!
The main post has been updated with the sports I’ve accepted as well as the ones that I’ve read through and accepted, once a couple of small details are changed.
I just want to note that I’ve gotten a lot of… gritty and manly sports. If anyone has a sport that takes a bit more finese and technique, that may hold a higher regard at this point. However, if I get another gritty and manly sport story that’s extremely well-written, know that it won’t count against you.
Technique and finesse? That’s what you’re getting with climbing! It’s also very much about your mental strength too!
Sorry, I’m getting sidetracked with climbing. You guys should totally try it. =)
