In an idea I have, the protagonist has just lost the only relative they knew and were close to. As they fear of being taken into the system, a relative that they never heard about appears and takes them home. This relative’s home is way bizarre compared to our normal towns. So I am trying to think how the protagonist’s emotions would affect them mentally and physically if it happens within a few weeks or less.
