Interesting comparison between male and female attitudes towards the submission process.
Very interesting. I think it reflects on the gender roles that men and women tend to follow in social situations, and the fact that other situations, such as most professional workplaces, those roles may not serve as well (which goes both ways, though this article mainly targeted women). For writer who submit their work, and perhaps in other areas where people interact in writing without the social experience of sharing a workspace or communicating face to face, the tendency may be greater to revert to revert to those social gender roles even where it’s not the best approach to take.
