I got mine when I saw FuzzWolf at Mephit Fur Meet. The last time I was in a FurPlanet anthology, I don’t remember it taking anywhere near six months before I received it in the mail.
Note that ROAR #6 has almost thirty contributors, whereas most anthologies don’t have much more than about a dozen. It occurred to me that someone has to cover the cost of all those contributor copies, which makes me wonder about the economics of having that many contributors.
Even at 1/2 cent per word, the payment to contributors is much more than the production and mailing cost of the contributor copies. I’m sure in the end it is just part of the overall production cost and a fairly small percentage at that. For a small press like FurPlanet, probably scheduling the staff time for packing and mailing is more of an issue. Anyway, sounds like we should see those copies before too much longer.

All contributor copies of both ROAR and FANG 6 have now been shipped. Media mail so expect them in 5 to 8 days, more for outside US.

When I looked at the Argyll website yesterday, though, I didn’t see ROAR #6 listed. Should it not be on there by now?

The point of the Argyll website is that it lists only the G or PG rated titles, so you can refer requests from elderly or other blue-nosed friends and relatives to a site where they won’t see erotica alongside the title in which you were published. :
