Is Hunter the person we should be emailing about all panel stuff? Is his email basically programming@rainfurrest or is it something else?
I’m really not sure WHO we should be emailing. writing_track@rainfurrest doesn’t seem to get anything.
The two emails should be on the email Ocean forwarded you (that’s how I got them). Hunter’s personal email (gcbigg@gmail.com) seems to be the best reply option, as that’s the one he replied to me with.
I will say if we have the writer’s suite again: For the love of god, can we please get more chairs?
I’ll bring this up with Bliz. I remember that being a painful issue at times >.< Though it was lovely having the more relaxed atmosphere of the suite <3

So my chances of going went up from 10% to about 40%. Still not a smart bet, but it’s certainly looking more feasible!

How does one get about to win membership? Is it a contest or something?
There’s a writing contest – you’re given a theme and 24 hours to write a story. When I won second place a few years ago, it involved a free membership for the following year.
Also, if you offer to help at things like the morning coffee meets or go out of your way to make yourself available to the folks who work the writing track, you can sometimes earn it that way. It’s how Spirit and I earned ours this year, and how I became liason for PT.
Actually, just volunteering x amount of hours (I think 10-12?) typically gets you a free membership for next year. So it doesn’t have to be with the writing track only, there’s usually a place you can go to get volunteer jobs.
