"Obscure" furry novels

In a sincere effort to reach out to little know authors and possibly discover a hidden gem, I often come across books on Amazon with pretty covers, particularly short “Look Inside” features, no publisher and no reviews. Recently, the following has piqued my interest.

Jenni Gisselbrecht (Author)

As far as I can tell, this author is not part of the Guild.

Any info on this writer or the works in question?

For the price, I might give one of these books a try. But I am scared of ending up with something like this…

I’ll chime in with Royce Day who I really enjoy the writings of. I don’t know how obscure he is, but given that some people have never heard of Maggie, I am going to assume Royce isn’t that well known.

Their Amazon bio indicates alternate names of Aaron Brandon Solomon, formerly known by his past pen names of Aaron Solomon, and Penny Tawret so I did a Google search on them.

Came up with their Twitter here: https://twitter.com/WolfenSaunders1 Same names in the bio.

I followed the YouTube link in their Twitter bio, and from there they had a link to a free eBook: https://store.kobobooks.com/en-us/ebook/friends-from-afar
