Good afternoon FWG folks! To coincide with the FWG Twitter bringing this to my attention I thought I’d start a little thread for anyone who wants to participate in National Haiku Day and write a haiku. Haikus are poems that are 3 lines long where the first and third are 5 syllables and the second line is 7 syllables.
Here’s the one I shared on Twitter to start us out:
Why does the bird fly?
Swooping through trees in and out
Again and again

Against the old manor wall
Waiting for a spark
