“Monster Girls/Boys are a special type of Gijinka (擬人化) / Humanization where the anthropomorphic character is a mix between a creature (both real and fictional) and a human. Which means some body parts/limbs of a creature has generally been added or switched on a human body. The human is usually a female, though some rare male examples exist. Fetishism of monster girls is referred to as teraphilia, and is a common form of internet paraphilia.
Most of them are an human torso on the top of a monster bottom body. One of the general rules is to keep the face and torso area human, with exception of cyclops and something spider, who get either only one eye or more of them.”

The story MUST have a monster girl or boy. They must be either the main character or a major character. As the point of this anthology is monster sex, the monster boy/girl MUST be involved in the sex. The sex must be part of the plot and help to move it along and not feel shoehorned in. It can also be straight, bi, gay, or some combination thereof. As these are monster beings, there are possibilities for a variety of sexualities, so feel free to be creative.
Secondly, you should show the reader how the world has adapted to having monster people in it. Are they segregated to certain parts of town? Are they the ruling class? Do they haunt the forests outside of the city? What are their interactions with humans like? With each other? How are technologies built for them?
Lastly, as this is an anthology with a singular theme, having stories from many different genres is highly appealing to the editor. Try out steampunk, slice of life, noir, romance, or any other number of genres. If you are struggling, take a look at the various manga and animes out there.
We will NOT accept:
Racism, sexism, or discrimination presented in a positive light.
Pedophilia or sex with characters under the age of 18.
Incest.
Rape, torture, dubious consent, forced seduction.
Snuff or Necrophilia
Bestiality
Golden showers or scat.

Length: Our preferred length is approximately 3,000 to 12,000 words. We are willing to take longer works, but shorter ones are more likely to be rejected.

No simultaneous submissions please (Don’t also send your story elsewhere at the same time), though you can submit more than one story to this anthology. If you choose to do the latter, only your best story will be accepted.

We purchase exclusive publication rights in print and electronic formats for the period of one year from date of publication for the stories and non-exclusive rights in perpetuity thereafter. Submissions must not contain any copyrighted characters which the author does not hold the copyright on.
This anthology will be self-published by Tarl Hoch through Armoured Fox Press and will be available in electronic and print formats. There is the possibility that a small publisher may pick it up at some point down the road, at which point contracts may need to be renegotiated.
About the editor: Tarl is an erotic and horror author from Alberta, Canada. He has edited one published anthology entitled ‘Abandoned Places’ through FurPlanet and is currently working on another for publication in September which is unnamed at this point in time (also through FurPlanet).
