Furry Writers' Guild Forum

Hello from Italy

Hi everybody,
Just a greeting from Italy! I’m new to this forum and I thought I might start by introducing myself. My name is Michael Tangherlini, I’m Italian and I’m a researcher. Writing is one of my hobbies, and part of my written works feature furries at some degree. Sadly, so far my two only (self-)published works are in my mother tongue and not in English, but I’m planning a translation of both (although it will take me quite some time) and to directly write in English some of my future works.
I’m happy to be here!

Hi and welcome!

Not speaking any foreign language myself, I always have enormous respect for those who speak English well enough as a second language to write effectively in it. I take my hat off to Joseph Conrad, for example. May you do as well as he did!

Greets!

Hello and welcome MikeT! If this introduction post is any peek at your grasp on the English language, then I feel we have much to look forward to from your translated works. Feel free to leave a shout in the Shoutbox sometime. We love meeting new people in there.

Thanks for this very warm welcome! It always feels strange to be the new guy for me. :stuck_out_tongue: I hope to be able to show you anything as soon as possible.

Welcome! If you need, I’d be happy to read English works and point out anything that doesn’t read like idiomatic English.

Welcome in! A new one to the forums myself, i must say it is a delightful, welcoming sort of place - i’m sure you will be happy with the time you spend here
