Furry Writers' Guild Forum

Greetings and Furlicitations!

Hello, all. My name is Eduardo Soliz and I have been writing short/micro-fiction since 2009 and self-publishing micro-fiction collections online since 2011.

After lurking for some time, I joined the furry community in 2012 after attending Texas Furry Fiesta and seeing what nice people y’all are there. I enjoy writing furry fiction, partially because of the additional possibilities that animal characters present. I regularly submit stories to conbooks because they give me a theme and a deadline to work with. Favorite genre would be science fiction, particularly Isaac Asmiov’s books and short stories. Most of my works are humorous but I do have some (slightly) more serious stories in the works.

By day I am an I.T. Guy; my background is in programming but I currently work in tech support.

Thanks for having me aboard!

Hi there! I think I know your work from Weasyl – as a matter of fact, I’d been meaning to tell you that one of your pieces (the airship one) helped inspire a character of mine in an upcoming story.

Also, keep in mind that if you’ve had at least 2 stories published in conbooks, you’re eligible to be a guild member. (If that’s the case, just drop me an email at furwritersguild (at) gmail.com with the details, and we’ll go from there.)

Welcome.

That’s awesome! Can’t wait to read it. I’ll definitely drop you a line about becoming a card-carrying member of the Guild.

I believe we met in Texas-- Greetings!

Greetings and welcome!

Welcome

Of that I’m sure! I’ve been going to TFF since 2012 since its the closest furcon to San Antonio (shakes fist at coasts). I’m notoriously bad with names, and as some furries go by their fursonas and others use their RL names and still others flip between the two, it gets quite confusing.

Nice to meet you and welcome to the forums!

I gave several writing panels, and iirc you gave one at least as well. My name-badge read “Rabbit”, but I think the panels were listed under my real name (Phil Geusz). I do that pretty much every year there. Pleased to see you here, whether you remember me of not!

Thanks for the good words, y’all! Looking forward to reading more good words here! ;D

Hi there! (Downloaded your Confluff II recently and enjoyed it very much.)
