Found this an interesting case study on how authors in a similar subgenre can band together to find and build a community and a shared audience. Don’t know how well this would translate to a smaller potential pool like the furry fandom, but worth thinking about.
Writers of Lovecraftian fiction have something like this, and generally they all get together at the Lovecraft Cons that happen all over the states. It’s actually pretty neat to watch.
Could be an interesting social experiment, if nothing else. Since furry is such a niche writing culture, perhaps something as broad as authors who only write GA stories banding together or authors who focus mostly on BDsM stories.
