I realized when I hopped onto FWG this morning that it was FWG that posted said tweet X3 So a huge thank you to them for sharing!

This is definitely useful protocol for new beta readers. I don’t necessarily agree with “don’t ask for help with brainstorming” because you might already know some of these plot holes exists, and want to affirm that the beta agrees with you (which makes what you know more obvious, but doesn’t help solve a specific problem). I don’t think it’s rude or wrong to ask so long as a reader is willing to help you with that. It’s not taking no for an answer when that becomes a problem. : )
