I am working on a story where my character gets disowned by her rich family, then ends up homeless. I have no idea how this happens or the feeling it impacts but I would like some help if that is possible. Thank you.

I believe Kirisis had worked on a story that addresses that issue somewhat, though the MC isn’t a rich orphan per se.
I would like some knowledge of the effects and process of those who had been disowned and or been homeless. I never experienced these before and I just would like some insight. I know it’s a touchie subject but I wish to have a better understanding on the two.
