I might as well make a post on here as well.

As some of you may know, I do editing work; it was my entrance into the guild. I am in need of new customers/clients at this time. If you want to know a little bit about my services and methods as well as my pricing, please click the advertisement in my signature.

I’m looking to branch out with my services in the near future to include formatting and possibly some other things. Things on that are still in the thought process at this time.

If any of you have something for me, that’d be fantastic.

What are your rates like?

It is really dependent on the quality of writing. Once I take a look at something of yours I can give a rough estimate of what it’d cost. Can be exact if I’m looking at the piece I’m actually going to edit.
Also depends on what the project needs. If I’m doing a full-scale edit, it’ll cost more than if I’m doing a light edit or a proofread.
I used to charge a flat rate by word, but realizing that some people required close to a re-write and other people required little more than technical brush ups I had to re-work it a bit.
