Hi!
My name is Rattie. I’m a danish grey/white colored pet rat, who has been part of the furry fandom for 3 years now.
Though my interest in writing is several years old, it is only recently I began thinking of doing something about. I am joining this site, in the hopes of finding some tips tips tricks.
In daily life I am a high voltage engineer. Much jokes have already come from this, and more jokes are sure to be made XD At any rate, language is my tool of trade, although in a different setting of hard core technical descriptions, so in a way I need to learn to write all over again.

In spare time I like to act. I sing, I do stage acting and the occasional fursuiting too. But all in all I love to hang out with my friends, most of them are furries, but luckily I have friends outside the fandom too. In order to not get too single minded.

I think that be all for now. Feel free to contact me, ask me questions and the like. I am very easy going, and I am not that easily offended.

edit: I do love to read, and my favorite genre is: crimi. My favorite writers are: P. D. James and Robert Goddard.

– Engineers comes with different “labels” on. So to speak. Some does environmental surveys, others are proficient in structures or bio chemistry. You could compare it to be doing different genres in writing. I am an electric engineer, with an emphasize on electrical power distribution. Hope it answered your question :slight_smile:

I used to work for the company that makes BlackBerrys back when they were called Research In Motion. So being someone who had a R.I.M. job, I’m quite familiar with people making fun of your job. :wink:

I might actually do that. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a need. Unfortunately may be an overstatement. We just happen to have a director that is very skilled at doing exactly that, who “spews” out sketches and dialoques at an incredible rate.
But I’ll keep that in mind, next time we set up a show :slight_smile:

Hi there!

(I know you just greeted me in my thread, but I thought it would be rude not to return the favour, and I’m trying to train myself to be more outgoing, heh ^__^; )

My ancestors of the 1600s come from Denmark and The Netherlands, by the way. I can’t remember the family names of the Danes, but it’s a piece of me that I really like knowing about. I’ve just recently got into fursuiting myself as I’m building my own costumes; it’ll be great to have someone else to share experiences with!

And actually, with you being an electrical engineer, I may need to call on your advice for one of my future stories…

That makes us kind of related, doesn’t it? No? Hehe. Fursuiting is great fun, but hawt. Phew! I am not an expert here, but I have done it for 3 years now, so am not completely new ether. But also my stage acting does help in my fursuit performance. Which is great. Wheee!
