I shall do that! In all the fuss I forgot about submittable.com existing.
Personally, I prefer ‘Relationships Gone Horribly Wrong,’ as I feel that’s a more immediately intriguing prompt.
Other possible theme ideas:
-anthro characters that were created by humans (for whatever purpose)
-seasonal - spring, summer, autumn, winter
-stories focused on strong female characters (bearing in mind that there is more than one way to be strong)
-the workplace - stories focused on jobs
-something species/family-specific (feline, canine, mythological, etc)
I have a few themes I’d like to submit for proposal:
- Learning (learning something new, old, well known, relearning; from someone younger, older, same age, &c)
- Crossing Barriers (literal physical barriers, psychological barriers, age barriers, &c)
- Across Generations (interaction or a story whose character ages are different, literally and figuratively, chronologically)
- Struggles (Internal, External; interpersonal, intrapersonal)
- Opening Doors (Things that are new; newness, special moment of ‘First Experience’, &c) [I particularly think this would be an excellent first theme for a new anthology]

If we’re not careful we’re going to have more themes than voters XD
Works for me! Well, I always wish there’d more voters in general but these topics will be saved for future projects.
New topic ideas will be closed in about 8 hours. I’ll create a new thread for voting and you will be able to vote until Sunday night. After that we will have our theme, and we will start to move forward a bit more with this.
Still looking for some judging help. Blind judging won’t work so well if I’m the only one doing it, afterall.
I’ve been watching this go and I do have a suggestion, if I may?
