Since you’ve brought up the topic of abuse of vague rules and/or standards, it might help clarify things by asking, how might the current setup be abused? Since we’re defining powers of the officers, are there known instances of guild officers abusing the powers currently provided? Under the new provisions, what checks are there against abuse of power–looking around the world today, it’s clear that if abuse of power is likely, it’s not exactly unlikely to be abused in committee, either, particularly considering the broad powers of appointment given to the president in the case an officer position is vacant because nobody ran for it in the election or it was vacated by resignation.
